More and more dog owners are making the switch to grain free dog treats and dog food. The sales of these types of dog products went up 28 percent over a one-year period from September 2012 to September 2013, according to the GFK Group. Grain free treats for dogs offer a healthy alternative for those who aren’t able to digest grains properly or for those who have an allergy or sensitivity to grains.
